I offered earlier this week to chat with people I knew, if they wanted a hand thinking about / tinkering with Linux.

I didn't expect too many replies, since a lot of the people I know, and who are on here, already use Linux (and plenty have even more experience and knowledge than I do).

But I have had several DMs about it, and I've tried to be helpful in response.

For me, at least, this is a joyous place to chat and discuss.
