The simplest way to end a debate on free speech with a Democrat is as follows:
“If you’re ok with YouTube, Facebook, Google, etc. removing certain opinions, then you would be ok with a Republican president entering office and mandating all pro-abortion content getting removed from social media?”
Obviously they won’t change their mind, but this is the easiest debate winner, if ever you find yourself put on the spot.
You can add some sprinkles with:
“Even though I don’t agree with INSERT THEIR ISSUE, I will defend your right to speak about it”.
This might establish some much needed common camaraderie.
