That’s pretty awful, but I’ve seen it so many times now. Back when J2EE was the new hotness, there were a bunch of engineers who had to use every damn feature of it, no matter how stupid the result was.
And there’s no damn reason to write a micro service in Rust, especially when python and JS are already there.
