I am an Amethyst fanboy, been using it since the early days this winter and I love it.
I forced myself to use plebstr for the past two weeks and I gotta admit: amethyst is richer in features, it has a familiar vibe and it works.
But Plebstr works just as well, if not better, it's smoother and the UI is superior.
The only downside is the code, I'd love it to be open, but the people behind it promised to release it at some point, so ð€
Gotta love the nostr devs, all of them ððð
