The really important thing to stay focused on with ai art is that it still sucks. It is not going to not suck anytime soon. People have had over a year now to use AI to make culturally significant art. I haven’t heard of any yet. I’ve been saying this whole time, I don’t think it’s possible.
How could an algorithm express a feeling about its childhood? What would AI art even be?
