After becoming a full fledged frontend engineer on nostr, I now have immense respect for designers and UX people 😛 .
I used to think that design is important for things to look pretty, but that's just a very basic function, how your app looks and feels is exactly how it communicates with the user. You can have the best app but if it doesn't let the user know how to best use it. They'll never even know what all it is capable of.
It's a tough nut to crack, especially on nostr, where there very few existing examples to jump off from.
