I am happy to inform you that this is false, plain false: It's totally possible to build flutter apps for aarch64 GNU/Linux. I have managed to run all apps listed on https://linuxphoneapps.org/frameworks/flutter/ on pocketable aarch64 Linux phones to evaluate them, some (e.g. Goguma) straight from source, others from flathub or distribution packaging (deb, alpine apk).
