eah, I just feel you're commiting that sin somewhat too. Most people find themselves victims of factionalism, or have justifications too (people from the adversarial side make their life difficult, absolutely annoying chuds etc)

And that pushes you and makes you feel justified.
Emotionally It's quite the same reaction that caused stuff like inquisitions (aside from actual shitty awful repugnant people and politics), as one believes their faction to be morally superior as they see a more self consistent and moral idealogy.
