That shadowbanning definition was cringe. No one took it seriously. Including the guys who were "impacted" by it.
As I recall the story:
1) Primal comes out with a primitive Trending algo (v1) to offer new ways for Discovery on nostr
2) Semisol & Ralf find way to game it. And they game it ad absurdum. Effectivel trolling and taking a piss at Primal's first attempt at Discovery service.
3) Primal manually excludes them from the Trending eligibility. (~ primitive v2l
4) Semisol & Ralf start screaming "shadowbanning".
5) More people start screaming.
6) Primal publicly confirms "Yes, we've manually excluded them".
