"content": "They used NIRSpec G395H to observe the planet during periastron passage to see how the spectrum changes during transit. \n\nThey find pre-periapsis phases are consistent with a blackbody due to clouds or just an isothermal profile. Post-periapsis suggests evidence for methane and CO. This all with eq. chemistry without photochem. The lag between Tsai+ and their observations could be due to rotation periods and radiative timescales. They don’t see a temperature inversion. #exoplanets5\nhttps://cdn.masto.host/astrodonsocial/media_attachments/files/112/631/941/578/549/947/original/5cde818acf51a356.png\nhttps://cdn.masto.host/astrodonsocial/media_attachments/files/112/631/946/266/496/895/original/5e1732ab7e3f2db5.png\n",
