My mum is *this close* to being ripped off by a vanity publisher.
They've replied with a glowing review of her draft, and now it's "give us three thousand pounds to publish it".
The issue is I know if I say "they're just luring you in", that will trigger my mum's foolish pride and she'll pay them just to prove me wrong. Gah.
