This is obviously an extreme example. The undercurrent is pervasive though.
I had the opportunity to go march with some friends in support of Gaza and I passed on it the other weekend. I will freely and publicly condemn the ongoing genocide—but I’m not sure I want to associate with the minority of whack jobs who are blatantly antisemitic or otherwise can’t see the forest for the trees. A few bad apples really do spoil the bunch.
