Agreed, and that’s why #China took steps to open up its Shanghai International Gold Exchange to physical delivery.
Basically countries now trade and those having a local currency trade surplus in Yuan go and convert that into gold and take physical delivery.
The Yuan will be used more by BRICS and aligned nations so long as the trade surplus is convertible into gold.
