I miss a few of my old friends who didn't migrate over the from the Bad Place, and I miss a number of people who did before they went and found a different kind of Hell to be in.

I still don't think people are prepared for how bad Mastodon is at first when you start. Picking a server, which you soon find out means nothing, but is still a hurdle, was weird.

Relying on the trash live feeds to find people to follow was even worse it is so much spam.
