Disclaimer: I haven't been involved in NumPy work directly for a while. But I am deeply appreciative of all the organization, coordination and communication work that was done towards the 2.0 release. This issue is beautiful, both because of the huge amount of work involved, but also because it shows how projects can self-organize and collaborate. Open source is indeed cool.
