One of those real -squirrelly- issues around software is that, if you're seeking consent, sometimes people are gonna say no.
And in point of fact, consent is only meaningful if people -can- say no.
So all this modern yes-or-later, "you can opt out if you find the option mb", forced installation crap? That ain't consent.
If you can't accept a no, that's your problem to figure out. That's not something to integrate into your software.
