Repost from ABC Canberra
The ACT government's mobile device detection cameras have accumulated more than $1.3 million in fine revenue since penalties started two weeks ago.
The five cameras checked more than a million vehicles since February 20.
More than 2,500 drivers have received infringements.
The $512 fine and the loss of three demerit points come after a three-month warning period.
