Content warning: dumping manure on the US. I have a purpose though, I'm not attacking US frens.
Original intent of the US: Freedom.
This is a complex idea, but I don't think any other country has been founded on the principle. I applaud it. Of course it was flawed from the start, for various reasons but the most obvious one was you lot didn't end overt slavery until a century or so after you rebelled against the Sackville-Bagginses or whatever my current alleged-rulers were called back then, and you were largely shit at implemented the ending for at least another century.
What happened though? You turned a noble ideal into at best worship of an old document and at worst a christofascist pseudo-empire little better than the one you left.
Sort yourself out, lads. A nation founded on freedom might be a myth but it's a myth that could have become reality, as many of them do. You're not going to get there by signing up to suck the mushroom, if you see what I mean.
