Trends on old camera gear are blowing my mind. I bought a Fujifilm X100V for what I thought at the time was a lot of money, €1100, new, delivered. The TikTok craze meant it was worth three times that last year, second hand. Afraid to use it, almost! Now I find that a Nikon Coolpix that I bought for its cheap-and-tiny qualities is probably also worth more second hand today than I paid new. I have more gear worth similar silly money today.
This is insane.
