Took some interns out with the old school floor brokers today. Felt like Jack given how automated the trading has become now
End of an era and it isn’t fairing well for the big prop firms. I’ll probably resign after year-end given the automated shift of these markets. Won’t go well, liquidity will get even worse (similar to RUT or NDX), and the size traders will have trouble filling orders.
Either way, hope everyone has a good weekend. Trading giga size is a lost art, happy to be a dying breed
