Shrinkflation tactics are always worse than just normal inflation. This is just as true in the specialty coffee industry as anywhere.
Shrinkflation: trying to fool consumers (especially with small weight / volume drops). Counting on consumers not noticing. Shenanigans.
Inflation: letting customers know products cost more to produce, and that is reflected in the higher sale price. At least it's honest.
