"content": "Hop harvest time\nhttps://i.imgur.com/uJpcxyi.jpeg\nhttps://i.imgur.com/Wt90XlD.jpeg\nhttps://i.imgur.com/SSbjiZG.jpeg\nWe have two different varieties of hops growing around the homestead, Cascade and Willamette. From this initial planting to shade the house from the summer sun, the rhizomes have been transplanted all over, mostly in the food forest. Now that I have a dehydrator I am going through the effort to harvest as many as I can. In the past I would just take what I needed for a seasonal batch of beer or cider. \n\n#permaculture #permies #homesteading #grownostr #meshtadel #selfsovereignty #hops #harvest #perennial ",
