If you're running a company seeking to use someone's IP rights, breaching them after they've said no is a truly genius business decision.
I mean, the ensuing litigation will be a lot spicier when the claimant can produce a whole series of emails back and forth. That kind of thing really helps a judge work out what your intentions were.
