On hard days, it is even more important to head outside with Summer at sunset.
It is our time to remember that there is so much more good than not and to reflect on the positives.
We talked about what made us happy today.
I said I would start.
I am happy that I saved some of the mac and cheese, so our dinner is in the oven almost done.
I am happy that I got a covid booster from a medical worker who was enthusiastic about keeping us healthy.
I am happy that our middle grandson came by to check on us and pick up their dinner.
I am happy that even though my husband's face looks painful, it isn't.
I am just happy.
Summer says me, too.
