Mike Johnson confirms it will soon be official legal position of House that the #Jan6 committee was improperly created, a common (losing) argument made by people who fought committee subpoenas in court
Courts typically don’t 2nd guess Congress when it comes to its own rules + they don’t like wading into disputes between the branches. It’s unclear how the DC Circuit will handle contradicting positions from this House and the previous (and DOJ will also have something to say)
