What about people who have faith in the resurrection, but are not justified due to a lack of works (per James 2:24, as one example)?
I believe in salvation by faith alone, but faith without works is dead (James 2:26).
Most Protestants probably don't have a huge issue with this interpretation, but we all seem to argue with each other over misunderstandings since we view faith differently
