those with extensive #crt repair experience:
i've got an Amdek V232A monochrome (amber) crt. the power light comes on, but there is no 18khz whine, no static on the glass, and no picture even at full brightness/contrast.
what would your first/most obvious troubleshooting locations be?
i've done a lot of crt pcb recapping and a few flyback transformer replacements/reflows, but i have zero diagnostic skills when it comes to crt design
