Apparently a lot of countries have been fudging their carbon numbers. Even with the fudged numbers, we weren't on track for the Paris Agreement... but when measured from satellites, emissions are actually still increasing.

Looking like governments aren't going to solve this in time, especially if they won't even use the real numbers. Maybe it's finally time for all of us to watch that new movie, "How to Blow up a Pipeline"? I hear it's actually pretty good.
