Possibly my favourite store in Canberra is a little Indian (or maybe Sri Lankan, that sort of cuisine) cafe deep in an industrial area.
There's no advertising I can see, and all the signage is done with a marker pen. They stay open far later than the surrounding businesses, and I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone actually in there.
You just know the food is like your mother would have made if she was a better cook, and that magic happens inside.
