I realized this MFF that you cannot describe a furry convention successfully to someone who has not been and especially to someone who does not grok the community: they are larger than the sum of their parts and an overview of the schedule and its events is not even remotely enough information to convey what these annual gatherings really are. They're one of the few in-person events where attendees are a major component of the content -- the more people join in, the more energy is invested and produced by the system. Just as in the fandom overall, the people taking part are the point. There is no consumption from any singular entity: we - you - are the point and we support each other, we lift each other up.

I will never leave out the term "beautiful" when attempting to describe what they are like.
