It links to researchinenglish.com, which looks like LLM-generated ‘summaries’ of articles appearing on popular preprint servers, with feature photos (along with their original captions) lifted from Flickr
The site’s about page claims it’s run as a ‘pet project’ by someone in Texas
The domain registration gives a Reykjavik address for the site owner: this turns out to be a ‘virtual office space’
I have not accepted the follow request, but blocked them instead
Not the first time a ‘news’ organisation has tried to follow me (presumably trying to get me to follow them back)
