I think blockchain is almost exclusively a crock of scam and scumbaggery, but one real use that keeps creeping its way into my mind is: decentralized secondary market ticket sales.
If I could buy a ticket from a real person, and be able to verify through the ledger that it’s a legit ticket and hasn’t been sold to other people, that sounds actually useful.
(The Ticketmaster/scalpers problem is a separate disaster, IMO.)
Too bad the worst people commandeered this tech.
