I also don't think Big Nostr is bad.
For me the issue is if going hard in that direction then ATProtocol can become Nostr a lot faster than Nostr can become ATProtocol. Like when that Netflix exec said the goal of Netflix “is to become HBO faster than HBO can become us”.
AP is scaling down fast, and soon a lot of the lite stuff (AppView lite, Relay lite, etc.) is going to be boxed up. And it'll only get lighter. Other words I suspect AP can eventually get pretty close to the lightness of Nostr in certain key areas, but Nostr won't get near the consistency of AP.
