While I have been skeptical of private citizens shouldering the responsibility of wiping out the lunch debts of school children because I tend to think it lets public officials off the hook for their obligations, I’ve got to admit that Valerie Castile helped catalyze a movement in #Minnesota that clearly leveraged free school lunch legislation that Tim #Walz is riding to promote #HarrisWalz2024. Let’s hope #Harris pays it forward with national free school lunches.
