Tibia is broken and the surgeon thinks I tore my meniscus and MCL. MRI isn't until October 7th.
I've had a tibial tubercle transfer on my other leg and I know I can make it through this, but I think it's more painful now because I can't hold my baby, run around with the kids, routine squashed. I was also coaching my son's soccer team and now I can't even make it to the games.
I am grateful for my life, but not being In control is my worst nightmare. Big lessons in letting go. Painful.
