my possums are gone. the neighbours cut down all the trees along the side of the house. on their side of the fence of course but that's where three of my possums lived and now its just bare no trees, no shade, nowhere for birds to hang out, and no possums. and im gutted

i know its stupid and i tried really hard not to let it get to me but buddies are my one real weakness so my heart is broken atm. i was able to hand feed one of the sweet shy lil dudes

my birds wont come back to my kitchen window yet because it looks so different

i'll get there but right now im so super sad. everywhere i've ever lived people hack trees down that im attached to and they never replace them and it just hurts me cos no trees = no birds no buddies
