I've created a proposal for a way to enable cross-app boosts and replies using nostr:

The benefits of this approach include:
- cross app boosts
- cross app comments / replies
- cross app payment stats
- discovery for podcasters in main nostr clients (every comment in a podcast app goes out into nostr)
- the feed guid / item guid references can apply to other nostr event types so the proposal is extensible to other features like live chat
