I’m not going to pay for Twitter / X / whatever.
But limiting DMs (within reason) is something that should have been done years ago.
First of all, people act like their DMs are private, sending personal contact information, banking information, etc. If people always knew that DMs were limited, then they would always have an alternate channel for private personal communication.
