Researchers from MIT, Cornell University, and American University invent an online tool to deprogram people captured by conspiracy theories. It’s called DebunkBot, and it will never work because 1) conspiracy theory fans won’t want to engage with it; and 2) it requires a lot of reading, which low-information people won’t want to do.
