However, one has a very clear "abort" mode and I'll generally release him a couple of seconds after I realize that's what he wants. It's weird, because sometimes he'll get to abort mode, and then I'll start rubbing his belly, and it just melts away and he's like, "Oh no, don't stop..." Whereas the other cat gets overstimulated easily so I've learned to give him one or two pets and let him go. Otherwise it's PLAYTIME with teeth and claws out.
