I would also say that it disrespects God to not recognize what gifts or favors He has given one - including talents and virtues. To glibly compare one's self to a hardened sinner when one has been given the grace of the Christian Faith, an opportunity to seek redemption, and a sincere desire to want to do what is right (despite likely shortcomings) - that is to show disdain for what God has provided.
It comes across as insincere and performative.
I'm not a fan.
