Ellen's Very Southern Voice on Nostr: I came away from MS Book Fest wondering: have I ever bought a book whose subject ...
I came away from MS Book Fest wondering: have I ever bought a book whose subject matter didn't appeal to me, but I liked the panelist? One very entertaining panelist, I can't get myself to buy his book, thx to zero interest in his subject. But a panelist whose presence mirrored the absurdist nature of his stories, yes... bc I like absurdism & his presence convinced me he can pull it off.
So question: do you buy books whose subject you're not interested but it was a good presentation?
