Sounds like defining our own short list is the best way to move forward. We can always add more later if there is demand. Which I don't think there will be unless a bunch of cardano people come over to nostr or something. Then they can implement that themselves without permission anyways. I do think USDT is important to be able to receive as a donation for a lot of underprivileged cultures at the current moment. Also there are a lot of XMR advocates so I'll define that too. Other than those and BTC, the only other assets defined will be the main tokens of the chains USDT is most popular on... So ETH and TRON too.
That should be a pretty short list and not really have to be added to later and I can define it all in the nip itself.
