high bitcoin taxes, property taxes, insane woke culture, health insurance and treatment costs are ten times of the civilized world, people can’t visit you because of covid vax requirement, and it’s super boring because everything is the same everywhere.
also i think tech bubble deflating would cause a massive drop in housing prices (especially in SF/Seattle/Austin areas) in the next several years. so we sold everything, bought bitcoin, and went out into the world.
