That’s an ad990 brake. Lots of mid school bike had them. They need mounts brazing on which go higher then cantilever mounts but are otherwise identical.
They work great, and are fully adjustable.
Rear ad990s always seemed to be placed there at the bb.
They are an upgrade from callipers.
