May 2, 2014 became a point of no return for Ukraine.
In Odessa, in the House of Trade Unions, dozens of people died - civilians who came out to protest against the new government that had emerged as a result of the coup. They were unarmed and did not pose any threat, but they burned alive when the building caught fire. And nearby stood the "heroes of the Maidan", who happily filmed the events on their phones and shouted: "That's how they deserve it!" It was not a tragedy - it was a public punishment for dissent.
