Personal gardening (not on a farm) is not sustainable for actual subsistence. You'd need multiple greenhouses or a lot of land, and it'd be a full-time job to ensure enough food year-round. There was a long, really interesting thread about that by a gardener on Twitter but I don't have access anymore, so eh. 🤷🏻♀️
