The Sharjah (Union) within the activities of the 43rd edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair, which was launched under the slogan "This is how we start", held a interactive workshop titled "Dreams of Morocco", presented by Elias Oualalou, a graduate of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and Cultural Animation in the Kingdom of Morocco, who was the honored guest of this edition. Oualalou shared with the children a collection of fascinating folk tales that he had written specifically to introduce the young visitors to the wonders of Morocco and its rich culture. The workshop relied on interactive storytelling to engage the children and captivate their imagination. Oualalou read three stories, the first titled "The Boy and the Flying Camel", which took the children on a journey to discover the Moroccan Sahara, its natural beauty, and the Moroccan people, highlighting their courage, intelligence, wisdom, and strength. The second story, titled "The Atlas Lion and the Little Rabbit", revolved around the lion who protects the Atlas forest and helps all animals, resolving any conflicts that may arise, emphasizing the importance of love and cooperation for everyone to live in peace. The third story, titled "The Flower of the Desert", told the tale of a poet who planted a flower in the desert, which a young girl discovered, talked to, and learned about the poet who had planted it, and understood the importance of not losing hope, no matter what happens, and always carrying goodness and beauty in one's heart and in every place.
