Yesterday the most beautiful chonker, Dutch aka Loancat, died of heart failure. We always knew he was here on borrowed time, but it still felt too soon.

Years ago this supermodel cat randomly walked into my house and claimed me as staff. He belonged to my neighbor who at the time was struggling to take care of 6 cats. Dutch was allowed to stay, and we quickly bonded. Every morning we'd go for a walk and every evening he'd fall asleep next to me. 1/2
