The instructions there contain information about how to use cryptomount, and the information applies to every distro.
Distro-specific guides would be redundant; they'd merely parrot the same information shown on the documentation of each distro, but with one minor tweak here and there. The problem we had in the past was that these guides regularly became outdated.
The current guide will probably hold.
